Types of Data collected

Among the Personal Data collected by this Application, either independently or through third parties, there are name, last name, e-mail, cookie and usage data. 

Full details about each type of data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this Privacy Policy or on specific information texts displayed before the data is collected. 

Personal Data may be freely provided by User or, in the case of Data of Use, collected automatically during the use of this Application. 

Unless otherwise specified, all the Data required by this Application are mandatory. If User refuse to communicate the information, it may be impossible for this Application to provide the Service. In cases where this Application indicates some Data as optional, User is free to refrain from communicating such Data, without this having any consequence on the availability of the Service or on its operation. 

In case of doubts about which Data are mandatory, User is encouraged to contact the Data Controller. 

Any use of Cookies – or other tracking tools – by this Application or by the Data Controllers of third-party services used by this Application, unless otherwise specified, is intended to provide the requested Service by the User, in addition to the purposes described in this document and in the Cookie Policy, if available. 

The User assumes responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties obtained, published or shared through this Application and guarantees to have the right to communicate or disseminate them, freeing the Data Controller from any liability to third parties. 

Method and place of processing of the Data collected

Processing methods 

The Data Controller adopts the appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data. 

The processing is carried out using IT and / or telematic tools, with organizational and logical methods strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, other parties involved in the processing of this application (administrative, business, marketing and legal personnel and system administrators) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, couriers, hosting providers, IT companies and communication agencies) also appointed Data Controller may also have access to the data in certain cases, if necessary. The updated list of Managers can be requested to the Data Controller at any time.

Legal basis of the processing 

The Data Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User if one of the following conditions exists:

• User has given consent for one or more specific purposes. To be noted: in some judicial systems the Data Controller may be authorized to process Personal Data without the User’s consent or on any other of the legal bases specified below, unless the User objects to such processing (opt out). However, this does not apply if the processing of Personal Data is governed by European legislation on the Personal Data protection;
• processing is necessary for the execution of a contract with the User and/or for the execution of pre-contractual measures;
• processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject;
• processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or for the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller;
• processing is necessary to pursue the legitimate interest of the Data Controller or a third party.

However, it is always possible to ask the Data Controller to clarify the concrete legal basis of each processing and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on the law, provided for by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract. 

Place

Data are processed at the operational headquarters of the Data Controller and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. For further information, you can contact the Data Controller. Personal Date may be transferred to a country different from the User’s location. To obtain further information on the place of processing, User can refer to the section relating to the details on the processing of Personal Data. 

The User has the right to obtain information regarding the legal basis for the transfer of Data outside the European Union or to an international organization of public international law or consisting of two or more countries, such as the UN, as well as regarding the security measures adopted by the Data Controller to protect the Data.

The User can verify if one of the transfers described above takes place by examining the section of this document relating to the details on the processing of Personal Data or request information from the Data Controller by contacting him at the details indicated at the beginning. 

Storage period

Data are processed and stored for the period of time required by the purposes for which they were collected. Therefore:

• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until the performance of that contract is completed.
• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Controller will be retained until such interest is met. Further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Data Controller can be obtained from the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Data Controller.

Where the Personal Data processing is based on the User’s consent, the Data Controller may retain the Data for a longer period until such consent is revoked. Furthermore, the Data Controller may be obliged to keep Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority. At the end of the retention period, the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of this term, the right of access, cancellation, rectification and the right to data portability can no longer be exercised. 

Purpose of the Processing of Collected Data

The User Data is collected to allow the Data Controller to provide the Service, fulfill to legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests or actions, protect your rights and interests (or those of User or third parties), identify any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as for the following purposes: Contact the User, Statistics Analysis and Display content from external platforms.

To obtain detailed information on the purposes of the processing and on the Personal Data processed for each purpose, User can refer to the section “Details on the processing of Personal Data”. 

User Rights 

User may exercise certain rights with reference to the Data processed by the Data Controller. In particular, the User has the right to:

• Withdraw their consent at any time.​ User may revoke their consent to the processing of their Personal Data as described above.
• Object to the processing of his/her personal data. User may object to the processing of their Data when it is carried out on a lawful basis other than consent. Further details on the right to object are given in the section below.
• Access to personal data. User has the right to obtain information on what data is processed by the Controller and on particular aspects of the processing, as well as to obtain a copy of any data processed.
• Verify and request correction.​ User may verify that their data is correct and require updating or correction.
• Restrict the data processing. In certain circumstances, user may require restriction on the processing of their data. In this eventuality, the Data Controller may not process the data for any purpose other than for its storage.
• Remove or delete their Personal Data.​ When certain conditions are met, User may request Data Controller the deletion of their data.
• Own personal Data or transfer it to another Data Controller. User has the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where technically feasible, and to have it transferred without hindrance to another Data Controller. This provision is applicable when the data is processed by automated means and the processing is based on the User’s consent, on a contract to which the User is a party or on contractual measures related thereto.
• Lodge a complaint. User may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, or take legal action.

Details on the right to object 

When Personal Data are processed in the public interest, in the exercise of public authority vested in the Data Controller or to pursue a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, User has the right to oppose the processing for reasons connected to their situation. Particularly, User is reminded that, if personal Data are processed for direct marketing purposes, he/she can oppose the processing without providing any reasons. To find out if the Data Controller processes data for direct marketing purposes, User can refer to the respective sections of this document. 

How to exercise the rights

To exercise his/her rights, User can address a request to the contact details of the Data Controller indicated in this document. Requests are filed free of charge and processed by the Data Controller as soon as possible, in any case within one month.  

Further information on the processing

Legal Action

The User’s Personal Data may be used by the Data Controller in Court or in the stages leading to the potential establishment for the defense against abuse in the use of this Application or related Services by the User. The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be obliged to disclose the Data by order of the public authorities. 

Specific Information

Upon User’ request, in addition to the information contained in this Privacy Policy, this Application may provide the User with additional and contextual information regarding specific services, or the collection and processing of personal data. 

System logs and maintenance

For needs related to operation and maintenance, this Application and any third party services used could collect system logs, i.e. files that store the interactions and that may also contain Personal Data, such as the User IP address. 

Information not contained in this policy 

Further information related to the processing of Personal Data may be requested at any time at Data Controller using the contact details. 

Response to “Do Not Track” requests 

This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests.

To find out if any third-party services used support them, Users are invited to consult their respective privacy policies. 

Changes to this privacy policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by notifying Users on this page and, if possible, on this Application as well as, if technically and legally feasible, by sending a notification to Users through one of the contact details in his possession. 

Please consult this page frequently, referring to the date of the last modification indicated at the bottom. If the changes concern treatments whose legal basis is consent, the Data Controller will collect the Users’ consent again, if necessary.
